There are four components that make up a personal computer system. They are the user, software hardware, and electric power, all of which work together to form the whole system. Each of these elements is essential to the overall system.
User is the individual who executes the task through an electronic system. The nature of the task depends upon the application program or software that is needed to perform the task. The software that the user used requires certain hardware components to function properly.
The hardwares of the personal computer system are made up of components that is usually connected (the computer printer, monitor, and the list goes on). Hardware is defined since you are able to physically interact with the components. Softwares are programs since their function can only be used while the computer is on. It is an array of coded instructions that computers utilize to perform the user's tasks.
The user will only be able to access the computer when it's turned ON. If there isn't any electrical power to run the personal computer system it will not operate. The capability of the personal computer system to manage its components is through an array of signals that turn off and on.
This is how it works, when a person attempts to type a document or write a letter on his personal computer. The first thing the user does is to switch on the power for the computer. Selecting a Word Processor software in order to create the document. The user uses equipment, such as the keyboard to write down the content of the document; the written document Microsoft Office is displayed onto the monitor screen. After the user has completed writing his/her document. The user can use program to tell the printer that they should print their document. The software is used in conjunction with the hardware components (the monitor, keyboard along with the printer) to accomplish the task the user has requested.
