Music Can make You Move

Music is among the greatest motivational factors... whether you're exercising, working or dancing the night away... having the right music can determine how much we enjoy what we're doing.

Music can help to get you into the "zone", makes you feel motivated to move and can elevate your mood.

What is the reason we love music? Every generation has its own answer. However, regardless of the answer, both generations acknowledge that it has an impact on their well-being. It is accomplished in a variety of ways... such as emotions, and reminiscing.

Maybe you've had a bad day, and you're laying on your couch with your headphones plugged in enjoying the latest release from your favorite artist or you're exercising.

Music can provide a respite from fatigue and pain to the point that you do not mind that stitch in your side! It can elevate your mood and boost the endurance. Music that is upbeat will inspire you to do more, making the time spent working out seem like it flew by.

There's nothing like listening to the theme song from Rocky (Gonna fly now) or AC/DC's You Shaked me all Night Long or Survivor's Eye of the Tiger to stimulate your adrenaline!

While you're studying or doing yoga, do you have a playlist that is more relaxing or songs like Yellow by Coldplay and Mix it Up by Bob Marley?

What about dancing the night away to the latest music from Taylor Swift or Justin Bieber It's a fantastic method to get together with your friends or meet new people, and get a workout! Dancing can even help enhance your balance.

Some believe the soft sound of music can slow people down while eating, making them more aware of what they eat as well as how much they consume.

Certain people listen to music at work to concentrate on their work, (or to simply block out the guy sitting next to them who is always on the phone!) They claim that they are more productive and are able to come up with more ideas when listening to music, as it improves their mood.
